2009 Josephine Ulrick Literature Prize announced

Catherine Harris has won this year’s Josephine Ulrick Literature Prize, netting $10,000 in the country’s richest short story competition.

The names mentioned there are those you'll notice cropping up in Meanjin, Best Australian Stories ... all the big places. Chris Womersley and Girja Tropp in particular are wonderful writers.
