Blogs about writing can be wonderful creatures. There are agents with blogs that give (usually sharp and pointy) hints about how to approach them; publishers who give those little trade secrets away that you otherwise have to pay for, or find out the hard way through rejection; and blogs by a wide variety of writers, be they published or unpublished, literary or genre, young, old, dead or somewhere in between.
I have mentioned the wonderful Angela Meyer's Literary Minded (http://blogs.crikey.com.au/literaryminded/ or Twitter http://twitter.com/LiteraryMinded) before, which turns out to be the most popular Australian blog on writing, probably due to both the Crikey clickthroughs and consistently excellent content.
However, this list (http://www.jonathancrossfield.com/blog/top-50-aussie-writer-blogs) of the 50 top blogs and 66 to watch has some gems that I've already visited, and some that are waiting to be discovered. Get out there and start clicking!
