LiteraryMinded blog

Okay, I admit there are about a zillion blogs about writing out there. So what are the five reasons that I'd recommend Angela Meyer's LiteraryMinded (http://blogs.crikey.com.au/literaryminded/) over all the others?

(1) She writes the blog for Crikey. If you don't know who the Crikey team are, go to the back of the queue - no cake for you. No, have a look at http://www.crikey.com.au/ instead ... it's Australia's best news source, slightly hysterical at times but, it has to be said, much less so that the Hun, the Age and the Australian.

(2) She's local. That means she's writing about the Melbourne scene, Melbourne writers and the events you can get to for the price of a MetCard.

(3) She's the same age as you guys, writing about the issues you face as writers.

(4) She updates the blog something silly (unlike this place ). There's something new there most days.

(5) Um ... she's really nice? We watched the first season of Flight of the Conchords last Friday at Nurka's and she laughed at all the funny bits.
