Hey folks, I'm Blue, a first year student doing the Bachelor of Arts, Professional and Creative Writing. Last year I completed a diploma in professional writing and editing at Chisholm. I got 'advanced standing' for the first year writing subjects so the strange thing is I'm not actually doing any writing subjects this semester. I'm doing literary studies, communication studies, studio art and editing for the author.

As for what I write...uh, good question. I've written a few short stories - literary fiction - and am ostensibly working on a novella or a novel, depending on how long it gets.

However, I haven't really been writing since the start of the semester due to the craziness of adjusting to uni life and so on. Hopefully that will change soon and I'm looking forward to getting involved in DeScribe. I'm assuming there will be another meeting soon?

Welcome Blue. Good to see more people here. It's getting quite crazy. I've found writing my own work hard aswell, the storm of university is crazy and time consuming. But I have heard that the second and third years can find time to write, so there's a chance for us all!

We will be having a meeting very soon, I don't think we have a date set yet. But we hope to set one soon, our memberships is going up, please enjoy the forum in all its splendor.
