Hosting a workshop.

So, you want to host a workshop?

1. You'll need to decide how many members you want. You need enough to cover the apologists who can't make every meeting. Somewhere between six and ten is ideal.

2. Where do you meet? You are strongly advised to hold the first few meetings on-campus, until you weed out the serial killers.

3. How often do you meet? Once a month is often the default.

4. What kind of submissions are acceptable? How many each meeting?

5. How do you submit? Email or post? Drafts should be sent at least one week before the meeting.

6. How much feedback is acceptable? You can be guaranteed that someone will think that a couple of ticks and a 'nice work' is enough.

These are the ground rules. There's others you'll have to hammer out along the way. Check out the 'Workshop strategies and advice' section.
