I'm Anna, a fifth year Arts/Law student, majoring in International Relations / Literary Studies. I quite despise the Law as a rule and have wistfully wished for many a year that I could be studying Creative Writing, but alas that was not allowed when I enrolled at Deakin, much to my horror.
I've generally enjoyed Literature, espcially the creative tasks, and over the last six months or so I have been writing more and more for my own enjoyment, some short stories, character descriptions, just lots of scribble really. I do enjoy writing on the train in little notebooks, mainly for the aura of intrigue, haha. I
Is the Creative Writing Course at Deakin rewarding? Do you find you've learnt much to assist your writing? I'm really keen to do something to help me move forward, but not sure if I can commit to another three years after five years slaving away already...
