Hi forum folk,

I'm Deb, currently studying a Grad Dip of Prof Writing after completing B Ed way back in 1994. AS part of my studies I have been writing short stories and articles but mainly I write poetry.

I teach full time in a secondary school in Central Vic and my studies are all online.

Nice to meet some other writers in another forum.
Cheers,
Deb :D

Hey Deb.

Anywhere near Castlemaine? I'll be at the Newstead Short Story Tattoo in May, looks like they've got some very good writers going along (Carmel Bird, Cate Kennedy). Might be worth a look.

Hi Marmalade,

Yep, not too far. I'm in a little spot called Lady's Pass (which is about 10 km out of Heathcote)

I have been trying to get to a few more events & will try to get to the tattoo as well. I went to a workshop yesterday as part of the the Clunes Booktown event where I got to listen to/chat with Matthew Condon, Frank Moorhouse, Julienne van Loon and Eva Hornung (Sallis). Really fantastic & inspiring stuff :)

Cheers,
Deb
