A flamingos true colours are?

Postby Paris on Tue Apr 07, 2009 10:58 pm

They (scientific types) say that a flamingo is only pink due largely to its diet of shrimp, and other things. But shrimp is the staple for a flamingos diet, hence colouring them. Ok, so what colour would a omnivorous flamingo be? One who didn't eat shrimp. Would they be white, or transparent?
If any one by any chance is doing a degree in this or has family members in the industry, I'd love to know.

I ate bad shrimp near Cambodia once and turned green; does that count?
